Ivor Bolton conducts Britten‘s „War Requiem“ at Musikverein Vienna

 

British conductor Ivor Bolton will be leading Wiener Symphoniker in two performances of Benjamin Britten’s intensely moving „War Requiem“. They will be joined by Ilia Papandreou, Daniel Behle and Samuel Hasselhorn as well as Wiener Sängerknaben and the Singverein. Bolton, who is Music Director at Teatro Real Madrid and Chief Conductor of Basel Symphony Orchestra, will then be returning to Vienna for a new production of Handel’s „Giulio Cesare“ in December this year.
