Mirga GRAŽINYTĖ-TYLA and the CBSO on musical tour in Germany

At the end of her first season as Music Director of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra Mirga Gražinytė -Tyla takes the orchestra on a one-week musical tour through Germany. Their first performance will take place in Bad Kissingen as part of the Kissinger Sommer. Other concerts will bring the orchestra to Wiesbaden, Ingolstadt and to the Elphilharmonie in Hamburg. The programme includes works by Debussy, Tchaikovsky and Stravinksy amongst others. The orchestra is accompanied by the pianists Herbert Schuch, Jan Lisiecki and Gabriela Montero, with whom Mirga Gražinytė -Tyla had a highly acclaimed concert at the Komische Oper Berlin last week.
