Emmanuel Tjeknavorian “Laureate in Residence” at the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

As “Laureate in Residence”, the internationally acclaimed violinist and conductor Emmanuel Tjeknavorian will leave his mark on the 2022 Festival summer in 24 events and concerts. Together with close friends such as clarinettist Matthias Schorn, violinist Benjamin Schmid, cellist Florian Eggner and double bassist Georg Breinschmid, in intimate chamber music and large orchestral concerts with the Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin, the NDR Radiophilharmonie or the ensemble reflektor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian will present the full range of his skills – as a violinist but also as a conductor. A special highlight is the weekend “Mythos Mozart-Violin:” For the first time ever, Tjeknavorian will bring a violin played by Mozart to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and present it at Schloss Ulrichshusen.
