Andrés Orozco-Estrada with the Gewandhausorchester

Andrés Orozco-Estrada is conducting this week's subscription concerts at the Gewandhaus: the program includes Richard Strauss's “Death and Transfiguration” and “Till Eulenspiegel's lustige Streiche” as well as Korngold's violin concerto, performed by María Dueñas. (October 23 & 24, 2025)

On October 25, Andrés will conduct the second part of the concert, after which the Gewandhaus invites the audience to an afterparty in the foyer as part of the DanceConFusion concert series.
