Giedrė Šlekytė – Premiere of Hansel and Gretel in Zurich
Giedrė Šlekytė is conducting the premiere of Engelbert Humperdinck's opera Hansel and Gretel at Oper Zürich today. The new production was staged by Thom Luz, marking the director's opera debut. The cast includes Jochen Schmeckenbecher, Rosie Aldridge, Svetlina Stoyanova and Christina Gansch.
