Jonathan Bloxham becomes Conductor in Residence and Artistic Advisor of the London Mozart Players

Jonathan Bloxham becomes Conductor in Residence and Artistic Advisor of the London Mozart Players with immediate effect, the orchestra announced today. The role was specially created for him and grows out of the warm relationship he has developed with the ensemble since his debut in Autumn 2019.

Bloxham has rapidly established himself as a young conductor to watch. In recent months he has led, among others, the London Philharmonic, the Hallé, Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, Beethoven Orchester Bonn, Residentie Orkest and Belgian National Orchestra with soloists such as Frank Peter Zimmermann, Daniel Müller-Schott and Sheku Kanneh-Mason.

He is currently conducting Bartok’s “Duke Bluebeard’s Castle” at Luzerner Theater and is a regular guest at the Glyndbourne Festival.
