Markus Poschner will conduct the Bruckner Orchestra Linz today at the Oberösterreichische Stiftskonzerte. In addition to Bruckner's Seventh Symphony, the program also includes a world premiere: Erkki-Sven Tüür's "Epitaph," which is a tribute to Anton Bruckner. The work was commissioned by the festival and will be performed for the first time on Sunday in Anton Bruckner's final resting place, the Basilica of St. Florian.
