Welcome Vitali Alekseenok!

RB Artists signs the promising young conductor for general management.

We are very pleased to announce having taken over the general management of Vitali Alekseenok.

His rich musicality, persuasive interpretations and distinct, open yet deep personality have already secured him a position among the most exciting conducting talents of his generation.

Alekseenok entered the limelight of international attention in 2021 as the winner of the Arturo Toscanini Conducting Competition in Parma, followed by his first production at La Scala di Milano ("Il piccolo principe"); since 2022, he has been principal guest conductor at the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania.

In November 2022 Vitali Alekseenok took up his post as Kapellmeister at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf/Duisburg, and in this short time, he has received enthusiastic feedback by the orchestras, colleagues and audience for his musical work - conducting "Turandot," "Tosca," "Hansel and Gretel" and the new production of "Sacre".

His concert engagements have included the mdr-SO Leipzig, the Staatskapelle Weimar, the Orchestra of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, the Kyiv SO, as well as the Ludwigsburg Schlossfestspiele and the Beethoven Festival Bonn. Between 2017 and 2022, Alekseenok was principal conductor of the Abaco Orchestra Munich.

His conviction of the power of music not only lends irrepressible strength to his interpretations - of works by composers such as Beethoven, Shostakovich or Olga Podgaiskaya - it also allows him to tread new paths - in his pedagogical work as well as in his role as artistic director of the Kharkiv Music Festival.

Vitali Alekseenok also gained recognition for his commitment to the democratic forces of his home country Belarus; he is the author of the book "The White Days of Minsk - Our Dream of a Free Belarus".
