Ivor Bolton returns to the Dresdner Musikfestspiele

Tomorrow night at the Dresdner Musikfestspiele, Ivor Bolton will conduct the Dresdner Festspielorchester as its chief conductor. The program includes Schubert's Eighth Symphony as well as Johannes Brahms' Concerto for Piano and Orchestra. The orchestra will perform on period instruments - a specialty that has been close to Ivor Bolton's heart for a long time in his career.

A guest concert with a modified program and Jan Vogler as soloist will also follow in Paris at the end of this month.
