End of April, the Düsseldorf Symphoniker are one of the first Middle-European Orchestras meeting again for rehearsals and a concert without audience: Reduced in size, they play works by Edvard Grieg and Richard Strauss, featuring soprano Heidi Elisabeth Meier, under the baton of Axel Kober in Dusseldorf's Tonhalle.
