Dennis Russell Davies has been closely connected to the MDR-Sinfonieorchester for a long time by continuous work in a versatile repertoire. From season 2020/21 on, he takes over as chief conductor of the orchestra, while at the same time staying artistic director and chief conductor of Filharmonie Brno.
