Giedrė Šlekytė gives her debut with Mozarteumorchester Salzburg

Young Lithuanian conductor Giedrė Šlekytė debuts with Mozarteumorchester Salzburg this Thursday, 16.7.2020. Violinist Benjamin Schmid will interpret Mozart's second violin concerto, followed by Schubert's Symphony no. 5. Though still under the influence of Mozart and Haydn, the symphony already exhibits Schubert's highly individual and characteristic Romantic style.
