Axel Kober has been working with Duisburg Philharmonic in the field of opera for the past ten years. During a more intense concert cooperation over the past two years, the orchestra decided to name him GMD in order to continue the excellent development the cooperation stands for.
Now, Axel Kober gives his inaugural concerts in this position: on 30 and 31 October 2019 in Duisburg featuring – in works by Edward Elgar and Richard Strauss - the Philharmonic Choir Duisburg and the prominent soprano Camilla Nylund.
