Michel Tabachnik joins Bamberger Symphoniker at short notice

Just recently Michel Tabachnik stepped in for Vassily Sinaisky at Radiosinfonieorchester Stuttgart, now the Swiss conductor joins Bamberger Symphoniker at very short notice to replace another colleague. The – unchanged – programme comprises works such as Alban Berg’s Lulu-Suite and The miraculous mandarin by Béla Bartók. From 2018-15 Tabachnik was Chief Conductor of Brussels Philharmonic, an orchestra with which he enjoyed an unheard-of success. He is equally in demand as composer: the Opéra de Lyon will be premiering his new opera Benjamin. Dernière Nuit this March.
