Nikolai Lugansky’s new album of César Franck’s Préludes, Fugues & Chorales on Harmonia Mundi has been awarded the Diapason D’Or in the April 2020 issue of the Diapason magazine. Among many great reviews raving about the new recording, The Classic Review wrote: “The fine performance of powerful virtuosity and dynamic musicality”.
On 10 May Lugansky returns to Vienna’s Konzerthaus with an evening recital featuring Beethoven’s Piano Sonata in A-Major op. 101, Franck’s Prélude, chorale et fugue, Skrjabin’s Sonata No. 3 in f-sharp minor and a selection of Rachmaninov Preludes.
