Semyon Bychkov returns to Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra

Semyon Bychkov returns to Vienna Musikverein and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra with Detlev Glanert's re-working of Johannes Brahms' 4 Päludien und Ernste Gesänge and Mahler's 1st Symphony.

The orchestra will then travel to Hamburg and perform the same programme under his direction at the newly opened Elbphilharmonie. Born in St. Petersburg and a regular guest with the most renowned orchestras and opera houses worldwide, Bychkov will also conduct the orchestra at this year’s Vienna Philharmonic Ball.
