Marie Jacquot on tour with the Vienna Symphony

In her role as Principal Guest Conductor, Marie Jacquot will conduct the concerts of the Vienna Symphony on January 12 and 14 at the orchestra's home, the Wiener Konzerthaus. 

Next week, she will then conduct the symphony orchestra's tour with concerts in Graz, Salzburg and Baden-Baden.

The programs are varied, ranging from Korngold's Sinfonietta, the Poulenc Double Concerto with Lucas and Arthur Jussen and the violin concertos by Mendelssohn (with Dalibor Karvay) and Tchaikovsky (with Leonidas Kavakos) to Ravel's Valses nobles et sentimentales and Liadov's "The Enchanted Lake".
